European Draping Swags

European Draping Swags

Item# DES-eudrapingswags
Available in several fabric and trim combinations shown below.

Beautifully proportioned and detailed, this elegant treatment is stunning without costly hardware or floor length panels. The jabots are extra long and finished with trim to present a finished look. Smooth swags drape gracefully from hidden boards of wood. (If you would like to add floor length panels, we might recommend shortening the jabots. Please contact us to customize this design. )

The treatment includes two swags, one center jabot, two long jabots, and center ornament, finished ready to install.

All draping is beautifully formed to the size you select. The folds are permanently stapled to the mounting boards and finished with lining or matching fabric. The ornament in the center is hand painted to coordinate with your materials using at least two colors to create a patina effect. A few finishes are provided as options. Select designer's choice if you would like us to suggest a finish or if you would like to request a specific color or finish. The center jabot finished length is 33-40 to be in proportion with long jabots.

Installation is very easy!

Fabric and trim pairs are shown below.

European Draping Swags can be formal or quaint depending on your choice of materials. Printed cotton and matte tassel fringe create a Provincial, Tuscan, or English Manor look. Silk and elaborate designs are royal. Changing the proportion of the swags changes the personality of the treatment. Tall and narrow looks most French or Italian. Removing the medallion and widening the swags creates a contemporary look. Notice that the treatment is sketched as long as it is wide. If you are not sure about the proportions for your window, please email a photo along with dimensions for our recommendation free of charge.

This treatment is professionally hand and machine crafted to order in the United States.
