Graciously French Drapery Treatment

Item# DES-graciouslyfrenchcol
Available in several fabric and trim combinations.

Simplified, yet stunning, European elegance for an ordinary window. French Flourishes grace the top of the mounted valance to create a stately effect. The valance is stapled to the board creating the pleats as sketched. The center pleat points downward somewhat. The pleats are made of a contrasting solid fabric. Jabots are very long and tapered to enhance the vertical dimension without touching the floor. Jabots are made with rod pocket tops to shirr on a rod. The jabot length should be calculated from 2-4 inches above the window down to where the jabot should end. The valance mounts higher.

Tassel trim may be added along the botton edge of the valance and the angles of the jabots. Or, tassel trim can be added along the valance and the entire leading edge and slant of the jabots. If the fabric you select does not include a trim in the photo, we will provide at least 3 options for you to approve. This can be done before or after you order. Please note that the drapery treatment will not be placed "in line" for production unless it has been paid in full or deposit. If trim is not approved quickly, any paid treatment will be paused in the order cue.

The decorative elements will be painted to compliment your fabric. General color categories are listed with the main color first and the glaze color second. Our designer will email you to confirm the finish for your treatment. Special requests are accepted. (use the comment blank at checkout or email us.)
