Marguita Estate Window Treatment

Marguita Estate Window Treatment

Item# DES-marguitaestate1
Marguita Estate Window Treatment is an updated traditional style featuring 100% linen printed floral/ damask in red-orange on a buff colored ground. The festive coloring is moderated by the controlled shape and pleating of the treatment for an overall impressive and inviting look. The photo of the grey window treatment is to show the style only.

Flat sections are curved gently at the top and more at the bottom. Bells are made by double goblet pleats that are repeated in the jabots. The entire back of the valance is lined in solid buff linen that is revealed in the dimensional shaping of the bells and jabots.

Each section is hand cut to center within the scalloped section and match from section to section.

Luxurious 3" tassel trim embellishes the lower edges of the scallops as well as leading edges and slants of jabots.

The Marguita Estate valance is planned for 3 or 4 scallops. (message us if you need 5). Finished width for 3 scallops ranges from 86-113". Finished width for 4 scallops ranges 104-136". So, for the range 104-113, you may choose either 3 or 4 scallops. We adjust the spacing of the element of the treatment to most gracefully display on the width selected. For instance, the jabots cover approximately 10" of width on the smaller widths and up to 12.5" of width on the large width.

Please select your jabot length based on the height of the room and/ or archectural divisions of your space. We are happy to assist with planning.

The treatment is fully formed at the workroom, shipping as a soft treatment that is fastened to a drapery rod (provided) at your installation. The pleats rise somewhat above the rod. The treatment will be packed to minimize wrinkling. Because the treatment is made of 100% linen, some ironing of the folds is expected. Steaming is approved for this treatment.
