Pleat Types for Traditional Drapery Panels
The type of pleat can enhance the overall style of your draperies.

Goblet pleats: ideal for elegant or romantic draperies. best for medium weight fabrics.
Two prong pleats: to cover more width (when mounted) or show off the pattern of the fabric. Also good for bulky fabrics
Standard Pinch Pleat: works for all styles and most fabrics. (also known as three prong pleats and French pleats)
Pleat to the top: use with poles and rings, although any pleat style can be used with poles.
