Stately Custom Draperies
This beautiful dining room is in the garden district of New Orleans. Green is a favorite color for decorating in the south, because it offsets the hot weather.
This example is approximately 10 feet tall, and the side panels are double width (two widths of fabric or approximately 103" on each side) achieving many folds in the drapery. The side panels are pulled to the tiebacks without much fanfare or swoop, and they just touch the floor. This is in keeping with the tailored style of the top treatment. (We can make adjustments in your treatment if you would like more "swoosh" and freedom of movement.)
This style is especially good to use when the drapery is constrained near the window or doors, because the outer edges run parallel to the window and can be close to the window depending on the amount of glass that you wish to cover.
